![]() Air Police Dog
Patrol
Welcome: Always wanted to see the world so, in 1952, I joined the Air Force. Took basic training at Parks Air Force Base, California and was then sent to Camp Gordon, Georgia for advanced Combat Military Police Training. Next landed at Osan Air Base, Korea, a far piece from home. It was cold and there was a fire fight at one end of the air base. This was my introduction to war and boy was I scared. Later that night we ended up at Suwon Air Base, 11 miles north of Osan, where I was assigned to the 51st Fighter Interceptor Wing, Air Police Squadron. Life was never the same.
